As far as our clinical trials are concerned, we only conduct trials that do not pose or carry a minimal risk for participants. Respective study protocols are to be approved by the local ethics committee. Additionally, it is assured that trials meet international standards, such as compiled in “Good clinical practice” or the “Declaration of Helsinki”, as well as national requirements on data protection. Our research work is incorporated in the Medical Research Centre as well as the Clinical Trial Unit of the Cantonal Hospital St. Gallen.
